My Approach

I work with individuals and couples of all backgrounds (race, gender, sexuality, and religion) struggling with a variety of concerns that impact how they view themselves and how they relate to others.

I am skilled at using a wide variety of therapeutic approaches, including attachment work, cognitive therapy, solution focused therapy, various trauma and meaning and insight based therapies. My collaborative approach draws from combined evidenced based modalities and interventions based on the specific goals and strengths of the client, so that each person experiences therapy that is a good fit for them.

By providing a nonjudgmental space people can explore their experiences both past and present working through their hurts, fears and challenges to experience healing and restoration.  Ultimately no longer focusing on what is wrong with them but what is right with them and moving towards a life that feels geniune and meaningful.

I have a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University, a MA in Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and a BS in Biology from Tulane University.
