HOW MUCH DO SESSIONS COST?

Sessions for individuals are $160 for 50 minutes. Sessions for couples are $180 for 80 minutes. Payment is made at each session. Cash and credit cards payments are accepted

 

​DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

I do accept insurance reimbursement from a limited number of companies, please contact your insurance to determine if I am a network provider.  Most insurance companies do not provide coverage for marriage or couples counseling.  If not and you have out-of-network benefits I do offer documents for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

 

​WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL?

​Things come up from time to time and you may need to cancel an appointment. I require 24 hours advance notification to avoid being charged the full session fee. I can make accommodations and provide a video or phone session if the circumstances arise.

 

HOW OFTEN DO WE MEET?

Ideally, once a week in order to experience meaningful and lasting change.  However depending on your goals and symptoms, we may decide to meet more or less than that.

 

​HOW LONG WILL THERAPY LAST?

This depends on the issues you're facing as well as your goals for treatment, but it's not a life sentence.  Often times people come to therapy just to feel better and this may occur in a few sessions. However therapy is not just the reduction of negative feelings and undesirable behaviors, it’s about increasing positive behaviors that lead to long lasting change and therefore it may require long-term therapy.
